ERP software for small service businesses in India
An ERP (enterprise resource planning) system runs the whole business on one database: sales, billing, accounts, purchases, people and projects. Grovia is an ERP sized and priced for Indian service businesses — not a manufacturing ERP that needs a consultant to install.
What an ERP is, in plain words
Most small businesses run on a pile of separate tools — a billing app, Tally or Zoho Books for accounts, Excel for attendance, WhatsApp for the team. An ERP replaces the pile with one system where every department reads and writes the same data. A sale updates the books; a payroll run updates the ledger; a project shows what it actually cost.
Traditional ERPs such as SAP Business One or Microsoft Dynamics 365 do this for large and manufacturing companies, usually through an implementation partner and a project that takes weeks or months.
What Grovia covers
- Sales: leads, quotations, GST invoices, credit notes, payment links and receipts.
- Accounts: double-entry books, ledgers, profit and loss, bank reconciliation, TDS, GST return preparation, Tally export.
- Purchases: vendor bills, vendor payments, advances and input GST.
- Projects: tasks, milestones, time tracking and project profitability.
- People: employees, attendance, leave, payroll and appraisals.
- Operations: field staff dispatch with a mobile app, support tickets, client portal, team chat.
Who it is for — and who it is not for
Grovia is built for service businesses: agencies, consultants, CA and law firms, IT and CCTV service companies, interior designers, construction contractors, travel agents, educators. If your work is people, projects and invoices, it covers the whole business.
If you make or stock physical goods at scale — manufacturing, MRP, bills of materials, multi-warehouse inventory — you need a manufacturing ERP. Grovia does not do that, and we would rather you knew now.
Grovia compared with a traditional ERP

Choose Grovia if
- You run a service business and want sales, accounts, projects and people in one system.
- You want to start this week, without an implementation project.

Everything included in every plan
What Grovia costs
That works out to about ₹300 per user per month. Prices exclude 18% GST. 14-day free trial, no card needed. Full pricing
What Grovia does not do
So you don't buy the wrong tool:
- No stock, warehouse or manufacturing management (no MRP or bills of materials). Grovia is built for service businesses — agencies, consultants, CA and law firms, IT and field-service companies.
- GST returns are prepared and exported for filing; Grovia does not file them for you, and e-invoices are uploaded manually.
- It is a single cloud product, not a platform you customise with code or host on your own servers.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best ERP for a small business in India?
For a service business, the best ERP is one that covers GST invoicing, accounts, projects and payroll without an implementation project. For a manufacturer, choose an ERP with inventory and production planning. Grovia is built for the first group.
How much does an ERP cost for a small business?
Traditional ERPs are priced per user per month and usually add implementation fees. Grovia costs ₹1,499 a month for up to 5 users, ₹4,999 for up to 15 and ₹11,999 for up to 40, with every module included. Prices exclude 18% GST.
Does Grovia replace Tally?
It can. Grovia keeps double-entry books with ledgers, P&L, bank reconciliation, TDS and GST return preparation. Many firms keep their accountant on Tally, so Grovia also exports to Tally and can import from it.
Does Grovia manage inventory?
Not for trading or manufacturing. There is no warehouse, stock or bill-of-materials module. IT service companies can track service parts. If stock is central to your business, a manufacturing ERP is the better fit.
How long does it take to set up?
You can start the same day: sign up, add your company and GST details, and import clients and invoices from a spreadsheet, Zoho Books or Tally.
